Established in 1969 by the late Larry Dale Campbell (1945-2024), an avid fan of racing and the race car driver Dale Earnhardt. Larry himself raced the #65 Chevelle at the Starlite Speedway in Monroe, NC in the late '60s and early '70s. 

Larry started his first business, a service station, in the city of Monroe, NC in 1969. Shortly after, Larry purchased a wrecker and started diving into the towing industry. As Larry's passion for the towing industry grew, so did his business. 

Larry later moved his business to the city of Charlotte, NC and became Incorporated in 1991.  Larry continued to grow his business into what it is know as today, Larry Campbell's Towing & Recovery.
